Pinky Wittingslow
Pinky is a bubbly local artist who enjoys delivery workshops to her community based on her broad range of artistic practices. She is an Illustrator, Potter and textile artist who finds joy in combining mediums and techniques to create interesting works with sustainability always in her mind. Harnessing botanical colour across a range of mediums is also a continuous theme in her work. Pinky is a little Neuro-spicy and really loves to deliver artistic projects that benefit students and community members with disabilities. Currently, her time is divided neatly between creating ceramics in her home studio, teaching creative workshops and illustration work.
Playback Theatre – Sandra Collins
Sandra Collins co-founded Brisbane Playback Theatre in 1989 and her journey with Story and its ability to heal individuals and communities still thrives. She has almost 30 years experience in improvisation with Brisbane PT and Red Thread Stories Inc. During this time she held many roles – Conductor, Actor, Trainer, Facilitator, Admin.
Her varied background over many decades in Community Arts, Education and Health assists her in exploring the notion that we are all authors of our own stories.
Sandra is a certified Listening Hour Guide and participates in other acts of service which assist with building communities.
Both Playback Theatre and the Listening Hour bring awareness to the abundant resources of Story which lives inside all of us.
Sandra is a local Wiradjuri woman.
She holds B.Ed (Arts/Crafts) and is a Community Artist.
Multi media explorations excite her. Her intention is to distill the essence of all subject matter and illuminate it.
