Create Grants

CREATE grants offer opportunities for mid-career and established creative writers and visual artists to create and develop new work by providing time to write and create. These grants are not intended to support academics with scholarly or academic works. Applications are assessed by a panel of independent peers from the writing, publishing and visual arts sectors. Amount of grant: $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000.

Quick Response Arts Grants

City of Melbourne

Applications close 20 September 2019.

Does your arts project or practice need a quick boost? Maybe a potential collaborator is in town or an unexpected opportunity has popped up? You can now apply for support up to $4,000 through our new Quick Response Arts Grants. You can be located anywhere, but your funding must result in a public outcome activated within the City of Melbourne municipality.

Stella Young Award 2019

Arts Access Australia 

Applications close 14 June 2019.

Arts Access Victoria cherishes the memory of our collaborator Stella Young and honours her by awarding a young Australian disabled artist each year with $3,000. This is a great opportunity for young disabled artists aged between 16 and 30 years old to be recognised for their impact on disability activism and culture through their artistic practice (in comedy, performing arts or screen culture).

Music Passport Grant
