Sandra Collins co-founded Brisbane Playback Theatre in 1989 and her journey with Story and its ability to heal individuals and communities still thrives. She has almost 30 years experience in improvisation with Brisbane PT and Red Thread Stories Inc. During this time she held many roles – Conductor, Actor, Trainer, Facilitator, Admin.
Her varied background over many decades in Community Arts, Education and Health assists her in exploring the notion that we are all authors of our own stories.
Sandra is a certified Listening Hour Guide and participates in other acts of service which assist with building communities.
Both Playback Theatre and the Listening Hour bring awareness to the abundant resources of Story which lives inside all of us.
Sandra is a local Wiradjuri woman.
She holds B.Ed (Arts/Crafts) and is a Community Artist.
Multi media explorations excite her. Her intention is to distill the essence of all subject matter and illuminate it.
