About the Artists

Sam Gold
Sam is a South Australian artist working with clay as a representation of a living material in transition. They explore identity and connection through ceramic sculpture and installation. Sam has received multiple awards for their work and has exhibited at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

Jayanto Tan
Originally from North Sumatra, Indonesia, and now based in Sydney, Jayanto draws on personal experiences of ‘otherness’ through ceramics installation, found objects, authentic recipes, performances and workshops.
