Explore the exciting and expressive world of monoprinting, a one-off fine art printmaking process where every print is unique. Working with perspex or metal plates, you’ll create spontaneous and dynamic images by transferring ink onto paper. No two prints are ever the same!

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists, this workshop introduces a range of accessible techniques including line transfer, paper-thin inking, subtractive methods, stencils, masking and textural experimentation. Through step-by-step demonstrations, you’ll learn how to prepare plates, apply and manipulate ink, and combine printmaking with drawing, painting, and mixed media.

Beginners will gain a strong foundation, while more advanced participants can refine their approach and produce a small folio of prints. Emphasis is placed on skills that are easily transferable to your own studio or workspace.

An inspiring introduction to a versatile, creative, and rewarding printmaking process.
