The rhythm of West Africa will come alive in Yackandandah. This community drumming workshop invites both locals and visitors to experience the joy and wellbeing benefits of collective drumming.

Participants will be guided through an immersion into traditional West African rhythms, exploring the power of this ancient art form while connecting with others in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The workshop is open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced drummers. Djembes will be provided, and facilitator Brianna Slattery looks forward to sharing the rhythm with everyone.

No prior experience is required. This open workshop welcomes all participants, with djembes supplied.
