Wodonga Council’s Ephemeral Art Program (2025-2026) aims to create inspiring temporary public art that supports community identity and increases cultural vibrancy. Creating the unexpected is the key objective.

The council is calling on artists to express their interest for inclusion in various short-term art projects within the 2025-2026 financial year.  This is a great opportunity for artists to show their work in high visibility spaces and places. These ephemeral art projects include:

  1. Artwork for display in Wodonga’s Open Galleries (The Cube Wodonga and WAVES lightboxes);
  2. Projection projects on to the cantilever windows of Hyphen – Wodonga Library and Gallery; and,
  3. Mural on to The Cube Wodonga box office wall.

How to apply:

Expression of Interest for the 2025-2026 program close on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at midnight.

You can view and download the Call for Expressions Interest document by clicking here.

Submissions are through an online form. The link to the online form is featured within the EOI document.
