Indigo Shire Council is inviting applications for its inaugural Public Art Advisory Panel. This panel offers a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals to play a vital role in shaping the region’s cultural landscape.

Panel members will provide expert guidance on the selection, acquisition, and management of public artworks, ensuring that the community’s aspirations and diverse stories are authentically represented. Responsibilities include advising on artist selections, making recommendations on acquisitions, commissions, and managing the lifecycle of public artworks.

Applicants should possess a strong connection to Indigo Shire’s creative identity, understand public art’s role in regional communities, and demonstrate artistic and cultural expertise. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, individuals experienced in inclusion practices, and educators are especially encouraged to apply.
