Featured panelists:

Robert Sherwood Duffield: Robert is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based in Urana, New South Wales, with a career spanning over four decades. His practice is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and a deep engagement with nature. Duffield’s work encompasses photography, printmaking, projection, and AI-generated imagery. His art has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in both public and private collections.

Helen Newman: Helen is a multi-award-winning Australian filmmaker and projection artist based in Albury, New South Wales. Through her production company, Nomad Films, she has spent over two decades crafting documentaries and video works that delve into themes of trauma, memory, loss, community and the power of suspending disbelief. Her work has taken her across the globe—from war zones and refugee camps to circus festivals and ancient rainforests —always with the aim of creating works that inspire, surprise, enchant and challenge.

Ben Eyles: Ben is an Albury-based photographer, educator, and technical trainer with over two decades of experience in visual storytelling and digital media. A former award-winning news photographer for The Border Mail, he now continues to teach and mentor aspiring photographers through courses at the Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) and previously Wodonga Tafe, where he focused on both foundational skills and advanced creative techniques.

Bronwen Garner: Bronwen is the Curator at Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery, where she leads the development of dynamic exhibitions and community-focused arts programs. With a strong commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, her curatorial approach emphasizes community engagement and the celebration of regional artists, fostering a vibrant cultural scene in the Albury-Wodonga area.
