Creative Confidence, presented by Murray Arts as part of the Smart Arts series, is a welcoming forum and networking event designed for regional creatives at every stage of their journey. This gathering invites artists, musicians, actors, makers, and creative practitioners to explore one of the most common yet unspoken challenges in the arts: confidently claiming a creative identity.

Through open conversation and shared experiences, participants will unpack questions like “When can I call myself an artist?” and “What pathways exist for building a sustainable creative career?” The event aims to break down self-doubt, celebrate diverse creative practices, and empower attendees to embrace their work with pride – encouraging a bold, collective declaration: I am creative, I have a creative practice, and my work matters.
