The Chiltern Artist Collective together with the Chiltern Court House Committee are showcasing the great diversity and creativity of our many regional artists. A variety of mediums including paintings, ceramics, metalwork, felting, photography, and mixed medium will be on display.
A Gala opening will be held on Friday 17th April. Doors open at 7pm with official opening at 7.30pm with guest speaker. Cost is $8 including drinks and nibbles. RSVP to Lois 0457262358
Exhibition will also be available on Saturday 18th April – Sunday 19th April 10am – 4pm daily. Entry by gold coin donation. EFTPOS to be available for sales.
The old historic courthouse built in 1865, is a wonderful venue with all of the historic furniture of judge’s bench, press box, witness box, and prisoner dock. There is also our 14 history panels telling the story of “Law and Order in the Chiltern district” from early days to the present.
The old brick lock up will also be open to view with stories to tell of the early days.
