Bloom Room, a solo exhibition by Donna Caffrey, celebrates the feminine, roses and Donna’s growth as a collage artist.
Inspired by the Ladies Lounge at MONA, the exhibition is subtly sheltered from the direct gaze of the public, with the entry partially curtained off, inviting discovery and exploration.
Donna works with images from books and magazines, found, painted and repurposed papers to create evocative images and stories waiting to be unfolded by the viewer. Donna’s work reflects thoughts and ideas in an abstract manner, be they feminism, landscapes or personal values.
