Donna exhibits regularly with Gateway Gallery and in both joint and solo exhibitions.
Donna enjoys sharing her skills in both collage and stitch in workshops and with her peers and the community. She has run collage workshops in conjunction with exhibitions at the Albury Library Museum, Write Around the Murray Festival and at Gateway Gallery and facilitates contemporary play mixed media stitch groups. Her collaged works were part of the City of Wodonga Ephemeral Art Public display in 2022. Two of her stitched works form part of the Southern Midlands Council (Tas) Art Collection.
Donna’s work is thematic and influenced by an idea, material at hand and surroundings. Donna’s work can be found on her website. She welcomes commission and workshop enquiries.

Stephanie Jakovac, Lubek Art Studio
My purpose built house on the hill in East Albury is a private space in which I make art but it also doubles as my own studio and gallery. Living here has been inspirational. Beautiful views of the hills, sunsets, wide horizon, sky, weather and seasonal changes have inspired my art making. Not only paintings, I have been creating sculptures, mosaics and garden.
Variety of oil, gauche and reverse oil on glass paintings are on permanent display. Some larger artworks can also be made available for viewing.
My body of artistic work comprises paintings and sculptures inspired by my personal life experiences, my observations of people and landscapes.
During my 4 year of formal art education in Ljubljana, the historic capital of Slovenia, I studied Art History and Art in all different forms. As part of my study I attended many art exhibitions and galleries in Europe. I also pursued more art education after arrival in Australia and attained a Diploma in Visual Arts.
In Australia, I commenced a career in commercial art. After settling down to a family life in Albury-Wodonga, I continued my career in graphic art, painting and later teaching art at a Secondary College, TAFE and private tuitions. I have regularly attended international artist’s retreats in Slovenia and I exhibit regularly in solo and group art shows.
I collected numerous awards and have held 30 solo exhibitions, 5 internationally. Many of my art works can be found in public and private collections in Australia and other countries: England, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, USA and Bulgaria.
