Reduction linocut is a multi-color relief printing technique using a single block, cut and printed in progressive stages.

At each step there will be carving, colouring and printing, using a range of colours from the lightest to the darkest.

Having observed the detail, texture, and character of your own chosen bird subject you will gradually reveal its beauty in print through this repeat “reduction method”.

Libby has been a printmaker and teacher for 25 years.

She is a professional arts exhibiting regularly in Australia.

Her exhibitions have been widely seen in the region, Gippsland, Wangaratta, Melbourne across a range of galleries.

She is now living in North East Victoria and is known primarily for her linocut prints that often depict native or domestic animals with a whimsical or narrative twist.
