Deja Gruuve: The Last Gruuve

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. With mixed emotions, the organisers have announced that it is time to say goodbye to their beloved Deja Gruuve.

What began as a simple idea to bring friends together for one big house party soon evolved into something far more meaningful — a vibrant community of like-minded people united by their love of good music and the joy of escaping life’s stresses for a few hours.

The decision to bring Deja Gruuve to a close has not been easy. Factors such as the organisers no longer living locally, the unavailability of suitable venues, and the rising costs of hosting events all played a part. And, as they jokingly admit, perhaps it is simply time to start growing up.

To celebrate everything Deja Gruuve has meant over the years, the organisers invite everyone to come together one final time for The Last Gruuve, taking place at Junction Place on Saturday, 8 November.

They are determined to go out on a high, with some of Australia’s best DJs joining the lineup, including 6 Sense, Little Fritter, Ned Bennett, and Mordi, alongside local favourites who have been part of the journey from the very beginning.
