A contemporary, feminist fuelled retelling of The Bacchae – Euripides Greek tragedy in ode Dionysus, the Greek god of festivity and madness- LITTLE GIRLS ALONE IN THE WOODS tells the story of the mysterious disappearances of young women in a small country town, from the point of view of their teenage friends.
Orwellian, gutsy and a little bit spooky- the work reflects on the multi-layered pressures of the world, from next week’s homework assignment to global conflict and how our young people can respond to it.
