An exhibition of art works by Lee Eastman

From a lifetime creating three dimensional shapes in precious metals (jewellery), Lee is now also exploring the illusion of three dimensions with oil paint.

“During the last six years; the time it has taken me to put this work together, the world has gone through immense changes, as I have in my personal life.

I have always referred to natural forms for inspiration in my career as a goldsmith. So, when I began painting ten years ago it was an obvious progression for me to just look at the shapes and patterns in nature that surrounded us. I believe natural forms are a reminder that beauty is there, if we look for it.”
