Albury-Wodonga Women Take the Stage in Powerful Play at HotHouse Theatre

HotHouse Theatre is set to ignite the stage on 19 March with I’M WITH HER, a powerful production celebrating the resilience and strength of extraordinary Australian women.

Written by Walkley Award-winning playwright Victoria Midwinter Pitt, this gripping play is crafted from unflinching conversations with trailblazers including former Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Indigenous leader Marcia Langton, and world champion surfer Pam Burridge. Their stories of defiance and determination take centre stage in a performance that is as timely as it is compelling.

What makes this production truly special is its deep local connection – each role is performed by a woman from the Albury-Wodonga community. The cast features Anni Davey (Artistic Director, Flying Fruit Fly Circus), Di Glover (CEO, Yes Unlimited), Jodie Bruton (Journalist, Border Mail), Kerryn Beatty (Local Artist), Ruth Dacey Davys (Wiradjuri Artist and Community Leader), Saguna Gevariya (AWECC Chairperson, Wodonga Citizen of the Year 2025), Solange Ntigonza (Youth Mental Health Advocate), and Jessica Kellerhan (AlburyCity Deputy Mayor).
