Albury’s Pumphouse Makerspace opens applications for The Pumphouse Artist in Residence program.
The Artist in Residence program provides a unique opportunity for individuals or groups to immerse themselves in their work and push the boundaries of their art form in a brand new, state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary facility.
They’re inviting expressions of interest from contemporary artists and craft practitioners from across Australia, who are developing new work, experimenting with different materials, or exploring new and innovative ideas and techniques to expand your artistic process.
Each residency will wrap up with a public offering – workshops, open studios, masterclasses, collaborative works – and so presents a great opportunity to share your art with The Pumphouse community.
Applications are now open. Each residency includes:
- Private 24/7 studio space at The Pumphouse to make your own.
- Access to shared fibre arts, ceramics, silversmithing and small works studio facilities and state of the art equipment.
- Accommodation at the stunning Curator’s Cottage in Albury Botanic Gardens.
- $1000 per week stipend (up to $3000 per residency).
