NG Art Creative Residency Prize 2018/2019

NG Art

The NG Art Creative Residency Prize aims to discover and celebrate emerging and established creative talents from a variety of disciplines. The Prize Winners will receive a free two-week placement at the NG Art Creative Residency in Eygalieres, Provence both in November 2018 and February 2019. This includes board and lodging, mentorship and residency-related outings, valued at up to AUD$2,000/ USD$1,435/ €1,244/ £1,106. Applications close 14 November.

2019 Hazel Rowley Fellowship

Writers Victoria

The Fellowship is open to Australian writers of biography but can also extend to include a writer working on an aspect of cultural or social history. It may be used to fund research or travel, to develop a new proposal, or to progress a manuscript for submission to potential publishers. Applications close midnight 5pm 16 November (AEST).

Generator: Emerging Filmmakers Fund

Screen NSW

The Create NSW and SBS/NITV GENERATOR: EMERGING FILMMAKERS FUND 2018/2019 is open to short film proposals, of 5-15 min maximum duration with at least one, preferably two Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander key creatives (writer, producer, director) attached. Applications close 11:55pm 2 December (AEST).

Copyright Agency First Nations Fellowship

Varuna's Copyright Agency Fellowship for First Nations Writers are open to all writers, published or unpublished, who are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and are currently living in Australia. Applications close midnight 14 December (AEST).

10yr Anniversary of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Community Arts Grants Programs

Regional Arts Victoria

The Community Arts Grants program will provide funding for creative arts projects that reflect the experiences of local communities directly affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires. Regional Arts Victoria will administer funding for communities and individuals from the 21 local government areas directly affected. Applications close 31 January 2019.

Creative Victoria

The Marketing Innovation Fund provides one-off support for discrete marketing projects that explore different ways of engaging audiences, building brand awareness and increasing income. Applications close 1 Febuary 2019.

This program seeks to support schools and community groups so they can experience the huge variety of live performances, workshops and other participatory events at Arts Centre Melbourne.

Sturt Craft Centre

Sturt Craft Centre Artist in Residence

Sturt Craft Centre invites applications from experienced craft practitioners to the Sturt Artist-in-Residence program. Residencies occur in the craft disciplines of ceramics, jewellery/metalwork, textiles and woodwork. Four to six residencies occur at Sturt each year.
