Following sold-out seasons in Wagga Wagga and Sydney, the nationally award-winning production Women of the Riverina returns by popular demand to captivate audiences across the region, touring to Albury, Junee and Tumut from May 3–7.
Set within the striking surrounds of the historic Tumut Montreal, Junee Atheneum Theatre and the Pumphouse Albury arts space on the banks of the Milawa/Murray River, this deeply moving production brings the voices of Riverina women vividly to life.
Featuring powerful performances from acclaimed local and Sydney artists — including Albury educator and Wiradjuri artist Ruth Davys, Aunty Cheryl Penrith, Amelia Harding, Haya Arzidin, Sandra Collins and Katie Simpson — the production weaves together original music, film and storytelling to create an immersive theatrical experience.
The tour includes community storymaking workshops in Tumut and Junee.
