The abstracted representational images of this exhibition are inspired by where the artists’ live, and reflect the colours, shapes, and textures of the land and objects both within and surrounding Albury Wodonga. The artists, Ann Nolan and Terri Friesen use layering to reflect both the transient and permanent ying and yang of our natural and man-made landscape. Using a variety of media, the two artists aim to interpret both the physical and ephemeral qualities of the area, inviting the audience to engage with these works and bring their own interpretation to each piece.
