Corowa Art Space is delving into the extensive catalogue of Wayne ‘Wombat’ Birrell, uncovering over 40 works that celebrate Australia’s heritage, character, and the beauty of things weathered by time in the exhibition, ‘True Blue’. Drawn to rusty relics, heritage pieces, and scenes rich with Australian spirit, Wayne’s art reflects nostalgia, character, and his extensive travels.
Wayne is donating half of all proceeds from the sale of his works to Legacy. This iconic Australian charity has been dedicated for over 100 years to supporting the families of deceased and seriously injured veterans. Gold coin donations to Legacy are appreciated for entry.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Corowa Art Space is located at the Corowa Civic Centre, 100 Edward Street, Corowa.
