The Chiltern Courthouse together with the New Performance Company are pleased to present a Play… “THE MERMAID SINGS” Stages Charmian Clift’s life as a 3 way battle between her public image, her inner self and her older knowing voice – asking what it costs a woman to live brilliantly, love fiercely and never feel enough. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience a Live theatre production by the “New Performance Company” from Melbourne. The Group will be performing at the Chinese Museum in Melbourne later this week, before bringing the Play to Chiltern so we feel very honoured. Carolyn Masson writer & actor, has Chiltern and district connections as does Rosemary Johns the Director being originally from Albury / Wodonga from the Murray River Performing Group, later becoming the Hothouse Theatre & the Flying Fruit Flies There is a evening session at 7.30pm on Friday 8th May and an afternoon session on the Saturday 9th May at 2pm Bookings and payment available at Chiltern Post Office or by Direct debit.
