OFFICIAL OPENING NIGHT: Saturday 25 October, 5–7pm

The 2025 Bright Birds Studio Annual Group Exhibition, Taking Flight, showcases brand new works from both returning and emerging artists. This year, the artists have truly stretched their wings, implementing new techniques and experimenting with different mediums.

Thanks to new artist support programs, the studio has seen a remarkable period of growth and development. There’s a strong focus on sculpture and the exploration of themes across multiple mediums. While birds and animals have played a large role, the artists have also delved into deeper, more emotive subjects.

Each year, this group of artists with disabilities builds on their skills, reaching new heights in the creation of original, thought-provoking work. We’re excited to share the innovative and compelling art they’ve produced this year.
