Corowa Art Space are delighted to host solo exhibition, ‘Wingspan’ by Sophie Chauncy. Sophie’s drawing practice is shaped by a lifelong connection to the rural landscapes of southern New South Wales. Growing up on a farm in Coleambally in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area and later by the banks of the Murrumbidgee River at Darlington Point, has led to a deep appreciation for the rural landscape.

This exhibition takes flight through the theme of wings, celebrating the vibrant and diverse birdlife found across Australia’s varied landscapes. It’s an exploration of flight, movement, and the playful presence of birds as they inhabit and enliven the natural world.

Entry is free. Opening hours are Wednesday to Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
