Lorraine Connelly-Northey’s work, “A First Nations Canoe and Pronged Fishing Spear” is her personal homage to Tommy McRae (Yackaduna). It completes the Arts Rutherglen tribute to Yackaduna – as a local First Nations artist and Elder. They are immensely proud of this installation, the project and our community – all the local businesses and friends who contributed to expressing Rob & Ro Porter’s vision.

Arts Rutherglen invites you to celebrate with them in a simple ’lakeside’ event to honour Yackaduna and his Family, acknowledge Lorraine Connelly-Northey and donors, and recognise the broad cross-section of inspirational community support.
