Sandy Creek Memorial Hall: situated in a beautiful rural area in north east Victoria, has served the people of Sandy Creek, Charleroi and Red Bluff for many generations. The original hall was built during the gold mining era in the 1860s to 80s but a newer hall on the current site was financed and built by local residents in the 1950s as a memorial to residents who had fought in the world wars. It’s a great place to live or visit, but what is missing from the valley is music!
Jack Gregory: is a country music singer/songwriter and story-teller. The country boy from a farm near Yackandandah has been playing since he was 5 years old. A graduate from the 2024 Junior Country Music Academy of Australia, he has many awards under his belt including The Junior Songwriter of the year and The Australian Heritage song at this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival. His music is heartfelt and reflects the triumphs and challenges of rural life especially his Debut single which was released last year. Waiting On The Rain was inspired by the drought and resilience of Aussie farmers.
