The theme of “AWAY” inspires ideas of what it means to be away from the ordinary and mundane. Things like: places to go, people to meet, fly away, incommunicado, exploring terra incognito, in absentia, meditation, doing away with.
‘…we need the magic of the unknown to evoke the mind, to use our imagination and fantasy,
then the human mind will create its own original multifarious forms. It is in this terra incognito
the artist can read new signals surprising the intelligence.’
It’s all the action of liberation or freedom from the norm that can be experienced by being/doing AWAY.
