Sunday sessions for life drawing have arrived at Stable Studios every third Sunday of the month.

These sessions run for 3 hours and offer a variety of short, medium and longer poses. The model in May is Holly, known and loved by Idle Hands regulars for her classical proportions, grace, and gravitas.

The studio accommodates 12 people with a combination of tables and easels. Basic materials including paper, charcoal, pencils & pastels are provided with drawers to bring their preferred mediums.

Drawers of all ages and of all stages on your creative journey are invited to come and hone your drawing skills. The class is warm and inviting and is about process, not outcome. The models vary regularly and they prepare poses that will continue to challenge you.

These sessions are untutored; however, specialist classes are offered throughout the term that focus on building a wide variety of technical life drawing skills. These can be found in the workshops section of our website.
