The Pastel Landscape Workshop

This workshop provides a solid introduction to soft pastel, whether you’re new to the medium or have some experience already. The workshop will begin with exercises designed to loosen up, build confidence and get everyone comfortable working with the medium.

Participants will then be invited to work from their own landscape reference material. This is not a “paint by numbers” class – you’ll be encouraged to explore, develop and follow your own style.

Amanda will focus on plenty of one-on-one guidance, working to each participant’s strengths while helping to gently tackle any challenges. She’ll demonstrate key landscape elements and offer guidance tailored to each chosen subject. Along the way, you can expect plenty of practical tips, insights and helpful pointers to support your learning.
