Join Sue in a weekend of artistic experimentation. You will use monoprint/gel printing, mark making and mixed media to create colourful pages. These will be made into a 64 page sketchbook with a hand painted canvas cover. Create mono prints using mixed media, including the technique of gel plate printing. By assembling your own original collaged/gel mono prints your sketchbook will be a treasure to hold with your printing experiments. The workshop includes your new gel plate to take home. No experience required. Max 8 participants Dr Sue Wood is known for her textiles and artist books, which have been widely exhibited in Australia and overseas. She currently works primarily with paint and paper, creating work about landscape and place. Her most recent solo exhibition ‘In Place’ was held at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery. Her work can be seen at www.paddocknotes.com or @paddocknotes on Instagram. Sue is an experienced teacher, including two decades as a lecturer at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Non- members can become members by a paying $40 annual membership.
