Lithography Workshop – Aluminium Plate

Join us at Creators Artspace to meet Chris Ingham in his workshop, ‘Introduction to Plate Lithography’. It is a 2-day intensive hands-on weekend course which will introduce participants to the fascinating art of plate lithography. This technique uses the immediate and accessible technique of drawing on aluminium plates. Unlike stone lithography, the use an aluminium plate gives great results without a lot of preparation and heavy lifting.

This will allow the participants to create immediate and fresh imagery using crayons and painterly techniques. You will be able to break into the world of lithography by using a basic drawing of an image to successfully rolling up and printing on an aluminium plate.

Participants need to bring: a sketchbook or photographs, notebook and pen and an apron.
