“In 2023, roadworks unearthed a hidden treasure—remnants of Corryong’s first town tip. Among the finds were pottery, glass, and household items dating back to the late 1800s.

These fragments, once part of everyday life, tell stories of resilience. Around those tables, our pioneers faced wars, droughts, fires, and illness—yet they endured. Like the pottery they left behind, we too may be broken by life’s hardships, but with gold in our veins, we mend- stronger, wiser, and more connected than ever.”
