Take your wheel-throwing skills to the next level under the guidance of Kerrie Docker from Table Top Pots.

Suitable for those with a foundation in throwing on the pottery wheel, this workshop is designed to help you take your clay practice up a notch. Over two days (3 hours per day), you’ll:

Day one:
– warm up by refining your clay prep skills (wedging) and throwing simple consistent cylinders
– learn to throw more complex forms, such as jugs and vases that require the addition of spout, handles etc.
– learn more advanced throwing techniques, like collaring in to shape your pots

Day two:
– trim and refine your work from day one
– learn how to turn different kinds of feet
– learn to make and attach handles
– free time to further practice the techniques learnt on day one with the assistance of Kerrie

Includes all tuition, materials, equipment and bisque firing of work.
