WHAT IS GREENHOUSE?
HotHouse Theatre’s GreenHouse: National Artist Residency is back for 2025/26 — and applications are now open!

Set on Wiradjuri Country within the stunning Wonga Wetlands near Albury, this immersive, residential program invites bold and innovative performance-makers from across Australia to develop new work, interrogate their practice, and undertake creative experimentation.

With six bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached rehearsal studio, the GreenHouse is a unique haven for reflection, collaboration, and inspiration. Artists are surrounded by nature, including the Wagirra Trail, Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk, and the Murray River — an ideal environment for sparking new ideas.
