Story in Song Holiday Workshop

Workshop your chosen song in a group setting, while applying techniques learnt throughout the day to further your skill set as a vocalist, storyteller and performer. For Contemporary, jazz and musical theatre singers.

• Please bring along your own lunch, snacks and a drink bottle – there are refill stations available in the venue.
• Make sure to wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move around in.
• Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
• Parents and family are welcome to come and watch the free showcase performance at 3pm.
• Participation in the showcase is voluntary, if any student doesn’t wish to perform that is completely fine.

Run by Niki Strauss of Pink Flamingo Studios. Niki works as a full time Vocal coach, singing teacher and vocal director for Pink Flamingo Studios and Sharyn Hill School of Performing Arts.

Some of her Stage highlights include; Cosette- Les miserables, Ensemble- Chicago 2018, singing ensemble for CATS and Jersey boys, A merry murderess in Livids production of Chicago 2023, Nicola-Kinky boots, Killer Queen- We will Rock You, ‘The Happy Mask – Aimee Chan, Ancestor- The Addams Family, Livid’s production of ‘War of the worlds’ as Beth. She currently sings with quartet ‘Nothin but Treble’ and was a singer in both Albury and Wodonga Carols recently and has been a guest vocalist for MRJO.
