Overview

Saturday, 13 April 2024 – Gateway Village, Lincoln Causeway

Limelight is a FREE, family-friendly event that entices, delights and expands the imagination. Combining the creative skills and ideas that intersect art practice, science experiments and light displays, follow the trail around Gateway Village Lagoon and discover a world of experimentation.

Limelight burst onto Gateway Island in 2018 and was incredible success, followed by Limelight 2.0 in 2022 with thousands of visitors immersing themselves in an extravaganza of animated projections, fire sculptures, storytelling, interactive art experiences and much more.

In 2024 with Limelight 3.0 we have invited everyone to experience magic shows, night sky storytelling, interactive music making, light and film projections, glow in the dark drawing, and to even take a selfie in your very own hot air balloon.
