Murray Arts in partnership with the Cultural Round Table of the Border North East are very excited to announce our third round of UNLOCKED, open. UNLOCKED is a micro funding round designed to acknowledge, support and encourage the independent creative industry practitioners, who live work and connect with the Murray Arts footprint during the age of COVID-19; AlburyCity, Greater Hume & Federation councils in NSW and City of Wodonga, Indigo & Towong councils in Victoria.
For the month of August 2020, we are adapting the program and will be offering:
4X $1,500 payments to collectives of local independent creatives who are currently or planning on working together on a concept, idea, project or offering.
12X $333 payments to 12 local independent creatives for a day of funded creative development.
Why $1,500 per collectives and $333 for individuals? Well we have $10,000 to allocate to the month of August and we know that there is a need for larger chucks of funds and also for us to maintain the individual payment offers. We have been receiving amazing feedback about the UNLOCKED program and are really listening to all your suggestions. Please do keep them coming as we are really open to continuing to adapt the program.
Recipients might use the funds/time to:
Work on their skills
Create new work
Develop existing work
Develop/refine their creative business
Work on a grant application
Purchase material or equipment
Collaborate
Think, breath, pay some rent or purchase some food.
If the online form does not meet your access needs, please reach out to Murray Arts for a word document version.
Please note as this is a Quick Response Micro Grant program, applications are encouraged to be submitted ASAP, but the third round August 2020 will officially close on Monday 31 August, or until all funds are allocated.
