Calling All Creatives

Calling All Creatives is a mini meet and mingle event specifically targeted at the ‘Creatives' of Albury Wodonga. Do you bake something, sew something, write something, photograph, act, design, build, sing, draw, cut, paint or invent something? This event is for you!

Growing Community Music

Community Music Victoria is designing a new statewide community music leadership program to provide support and skill development to the wonderful people who devote their time to leading community music and singing activities. And to create new opportunities for communities to make group singing and music-making a part of their lives.

This workshop explores how this program should be designed so that it can help community music to grow in your area. Inviting as many people as possible to take part in workshops and conversations to identify exactly what this support and development should look like in your community.

Blind and Low Vision Workshop

Join Description Victoria Lead Describer Will McRostie, Orientation & Mobility Specialist Penny Stevenson, and local theatre-maker Micalea Schmidt for a day-long workshop on strategies for effectively working with people who are Blind or have low vision in arts and cultural environments.

This workshop is ideal for: People who manage or work in theatres, galleries, libraries and other public spaces. Teachers, facilitators, and artists who want to make people who are Blind feel more welcome in workshops and classes.

Keeping it Real 2019

Immerse yourself in all things creative, inspirational and practical at this annual symposium for people interested in and passionate about galleries, libraries, museums, cultural development, public art and everything in between.

Keeping it Real is a forum for regional cultural workers and volunteers, offering an eclectic mix of presentations and workshops. What makes Keeping it Real different is that it provides affordable access to current cultural practice, workshops and the opportunity to engage, be inspired and implement ideas in the workplace.
