We are excited to let you know about some of the amazing funding opportunities available to arts and cultural initiatives. And with some wild winter weather heading our way, it's the perfect time to stay in, grab a cuppa and apply for grants and funding. Most of these opportunities close very soon, so get cracking on those applications!  If you need help with your application the organisation administering the funds is your best and the first port of call. In Victoria, the Regional Arts Fund is administered by Regional Arts Victoria according to the objectives and general eligibility determined by the Australian Government. More info  Create Grants Applications close: 19 August 2019  CREATE grants offer opportunities for mid-career and established creative writers and visual artists to create and develop new work by providing time to write and create. Amount of grant: $10,000, $15,000 or $20,000. More info VicArts Grants Applications close: 22 August 2019 The VicArts Grants program invests in the creative endeavours and professional practice of Victoria's artists and smaller arts companies.  It provides one-off support for discrete projects and programs that will develop and bring dynamism to Victoria's arts sector. More info Regional Arts Fund - NSW Applications close: 25 August 2019 The Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote Australia and meets the strategic priorities of supporting participation in, and access to, the arts and encouraging greater private sector support for the arts. More info Qantas Regional Grants Applications close: 30 August 2019  Be a champion for regional Australia and share in $5million in funding over 5 years. The Qantas Regional Grants program adds to our existing initiatives created to strengthen regional communities, drive local economic activity, stimulate tourism and support jobs. More info Arts and Cultural Funding Create NSW Applications close: 2 September 2019 Create NSW’s Arts and Cultural Funding Program 2019/20 provides funding opportunities for arts and cultural organisations, professional artists and arts/cultural workers across a wide range of artforms and disciplines. More info Murray Arts contributes directly to the arts and cultural lifeblood of the NE VIC/ Border region by working directly with individuals, communities and local government to assist them in developing the arts and cultural life of their communities.
