Support & Opportunities- COVID-19

Well it's unchartered territory ahead and while the team at Murray Arts are working remotely we are still working to support the vibrant creative communities in our region and beyond. The only things that have changed are that you won't be able to drop into the office where Nat would make you a coffee with her broken plunger which resulted in you eating your coffee rather than drinking it, and that this pandemic is making us look at how we move forward with new ways and opportunities in an uncertain climate. What we are certain of is that at this time the arts have become even more vital to our entire community as we look to the arts for healing, cohesion, entertainment and learning.

We've compiled a few resources to help including webinars, online groups, legal info,  financial support and well-being. There will be plenty more coming your way so this list is by no means exhaustive. If you've got some resources to share let us know about it!

There's a number of free online workshops & webinars coming up to help you in your arts business so make sure you are following us on Facebook. If you're like me and trying to stay off social media ( good mental health practice atm!) or you're not on social media please let us know and we'll do our best to keep you notified of these opportunities via email.

If you've got other opportunities, info or just want to keep in touch email us at info@murrayarts.org.au

Podcast About Loss of Earnings

ABC's The Signal podcast looks at the loss of earnings across the creative industry.

"Job losses have been a big part of the conversation about the economic impact of Covid-19, but they're not imagined anymore, they're a reality.

This episode meets people losing their livelihoods as large gatherings are banned, people stay home and the entertainment sector goes dark.

What are their plans now? And will the Government stimulus package help in any way?"
