We are excited to announce our first exhibition of 2020 will present the work of Bundjalung/Gumbayngirr artist Rita Wenberg. ‘not a MYTH’ chronicles the impacts of the forcible removal of First Nations children from their families through a lifetime of Rita’s poetry and painting. The exhibition will juxtapose the truths of Rita’s experiences alongside the writings about Cootamundra Girls Home as published in the June 1953 issue of Dawn Magazine.
