Murray Arts launches a new project
-Listen To My Story-

The project aims to uncover real-life stories of strength and resilience, written and shared by our local youth and presented as a podcast series which will be released in partnership with ABC Goulburn Murray.

As a participant, you will work alongside professional writers developing your creative writing skills, learn to edit and prepare for broadcast, and collaborate with a producer to present your story as part of a podcast series.  Or if you just have a story that you want to voice, something you want to tell the world, our writers can help get your words out there for others to hear.

An individual plan will be set up with each storyteller to meet your mentoring needs. Assistance is from professional writers Aimee Chan, Kyle Walmsley and Kate Rotherham. Alison Plasto of Out of Line will produce the podcast series.

Murray Arts is proud to be engaging our young locals in a project that encourages positive mental health outcomes and aims to upskill through access to professional artists and producers and exposure to new communication and technology tools.
