Murray Arts is thrilled to announce that Alyce Fisher will be taking up residence in the Murray Arts Office on Gateway Island, as our new Executive Director.

Alyce Fisher brings a broad range of arts management skills to the Murray region with a background in theatre and education production, as well as extensive experience in regional arts partnerships.

A passion for dramatic arts led Alyce to study Theatre Arts at Swinburne University, before launching her own small production company 'Theatre on Toast'. The company specialised in touring dynamic and relevant theatre and education productions throughout regional Victoria and NSW. Alyce is incredibly passionate about regional Arts and Cultural Development and is no stranger to the Regional Arts NSW network, previously working as the Regional Arts Development Officer for South West Arts, based in Deniliquin from 2009 – 2013. Alyce has spent the past three years gallivanting through North America and Europe, and has returned home to Australia with an enthusiasm to re-join the Regional Arts NSW network.

Murray Arts Chair, Tahni Froudist said "Alyce's obvious passion for the Arts will ensure that Murray Arts' strong foundation for delivering outstanding programs and projects will continue to grow well beyond this year and into the future. Alyce is incredibly excited to be joining the Murray Arts team as Executive Director in the New Year."

Tahni Froudist thanked outgoing Interim General Manager, Vanessa Keenan for smoothly stepping in to oversee the organisation and for ensuring an effortless transition of the directorship over to Alyce.
