Gateway Village Open Day 8am – 1pm
Saturday 18 November 2017 │Saturday 16 December 2017

It's definitely Open Day Season on Gateway Island! The third in the series will be hosted by Gateway Village traders, stall holders, artists and businesses located on the Lincoln Causeway! Discover all that's on offer in the Arts and Cultural precinct, from 8am -1pm Saturday 18 November 2017.

The sustainable message this Open Day is to BYO your drink bottle from home! A water cart, proudly sponsored by the Sustainable Activity Centre, will be stationed in the Village, to keep everyone's thirst at bay!

What can you expect this time around...there will be another piano wheeled out in front of GIGS Art Gallery with an invitation to express your own creativity, this time using a slightly more obscure method of applying the paint!

Meet the new Aboriginal Arts Curator, Bethany Thornber who has just joined the Murray Arts team at burraja gallery, located right next door to the SAC, and discover the pathways of Eddie Kneebone's artwork by taking a walk around Byrnes Lagoon to the Murray River.

Right beside the Murray River, the Burraja Cultural Centre will have Boomerang and spear throwing practice, which was a sensational hit with the kids last open day!
