Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2 - 9 July 2017

NAIDOC Week celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is a timely opportunity for us to recognise the contribution that Indigenous Australians make to enrich our local community, and that certainly rings true for the Murray Arts footprint this year!

Murray Arts NAIDOC Week Preschool Program operates throughout the month of JULY well into SEPTEMBER.

We're looking forward to rolling out our NAIDOC pre-school program for the third year in a row, right around the region well into September. We love this program, which supports the employment of Aboriginal artists and delivers an authentic cultural experience to 12 pre-schools, across our six Local Government partners. Murray Arts successfully received funding from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to make this program possible.

Our vital Preschool Program, orchestrates a series of workshops, employing local Aboriginal Artists to bring a truly authentic Aboriginal cultural experience to the youngest people in our region. If your pre-school would like to express an interest in the program for 2018, please email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
